The Proteus Shorty Rails System is a height adjustable base plate for HDSLRs and video cameras. The base plate ejects straight up and offers a multitude of configurations, none of which protrude below the rails. Height, XY adjustment, rake angle and placement of the rails blocks are all variable.
The unit sits on 30cm rails to allow for mounting other accessories like a mattebox and follow focus. It also comes standard with a tripod adapter plate with 1/4-20 and 3/8 thread holes to mount to any tripod.
