If you are using a Manfrotto 504 Video Head, you will see that the head incorporates a 75mm ball into its fluid pan mechanism. Unlike most ball/head systems, the ball cannot be removed from the head. The good news is that this kit allows you to use that 75mm ball system on any of our 100mm bowls, while maintaining our very low profile attachment system. If you're using any of our Atlas systems with the Manfrotto 504 head, you'll need this kit.
