run and gun HV20 rig

run and gun HV20 rig

Hand heald shots are comfortable at any height with this rig. I'm ordering the new Nebtek monitor for it and customizing a shoulder pad that slides on to the rear rails.
The hV20 and brevis is a great combo. Small enough to take with me to film my family at the zoo and beach. few people say anything or notice the cameras a little strange

Question for Dennis or any HV20/canon EF users:

Will I experience any difficullties using a CF3 in this setup?
Most of my EF primes are under 2.0 but I also want to use the pictured 4.0 zoom for run and gun exteriors.

Is vingetting the same for CF1 and CF3 with the same lens?

Thanks for the forum. This is where I learn the most.

So Reid, I guess we need to come with a handle :-)

CF3 should work just fine with this setup as long as you're shooting with a fast lens (f1.4 to f2 ish) and in adequate light. The big trick with the HV20 is mastering the manual control workarounds so you're not shooting with gain (which adds a lot of noise) dialed in.
