Above is a trailer for my newest magic instructional DVD called, "The Rice Papers". All the footage was shot using the Brevis 35 with flip module, Proteus Rails system, Nikon lenses, and Microdolly Support.

Homer, it's great to see you're still churning out cool clips with your rig :-) I'm a big fan of wide angle/close shots which I can see you've made great use of. Are you still working with Mr. Copperfield?

Hi Dennis,

I too am a big fan of the wide angle close up. I had wanted to do that when I first got my Brevis back in 2008, but never got a chance to. I wanted to be one of the first magicians to use that technique in their teaching videos, but with the DSLR video technology springing up last year, some of those wide angle/closeups started to appear.

Still working with Copperfield since 1994. Actually I will be filming a quick spot to help the disaster relief in Chile this afternoon using the Proteus Rails and a DSLR.

I love all the Cinevate innovations. Hope to try some of them out in the future!
