Indie Feature Film Trailer – Shot on Canon 5D Mk II

Straight from our assembly floor, Cinevate veteran Trevor Zurkan just recently put together the following teaser trailer for his upcoming film, Quiver. Trevor directed the film that shot over 6 weeks this past summer in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.

The official synopsis from the Quiver site;
Trying to rekindle their relationship and to get away from it all, Rudy and Claire receive coordinates to a beautiful, isolated area deep in the wilderness and decide to go camping for their anniversary. Unbeknown to them, there are mutated wood ticks and other forces lurking in the same woods ready to drain them dry. Daniel, Rudy’s co-worker, a friend and the one who gave them the location, finds out that the area they are hiking in has become quarantined by local Sergeant Larson. Worried and upset, Daniel urgently requests Sergeant Larson and his aid, Constable Dodson, to help him find his friends before it is too late.

A few Cinevate employees made it out on occasion to crew when they could, myself included. Still-Frame provided a few candid crew shots from the shoot, including a taste of the effects make up you’ll see in the film. We’ll share more information when the film draws closer to release this summer.

  1. Billy says:

    Nice but what kind of lens did you use? It had a lot of flare. Who did the sound?
    Not bad but I’d prefer controlled lighting.
