Customer Showcase #6

For our sixth Showcase we’re using a submission from Steve Gribben and Ton-Essa La’Rocque of Loudbyte Cinematography. Loudbyte focuses primarily on wedding films (and, as you’ll see, not your typical wedding films) with Steve and Ton-Essa as shooters and editors – although, according to their site, they each have distinct specializations, including “Master Pizza Chef”, “Gypsy Jazz Guitarist”, and “Sudoku Champion” ;)

You should notice some super slick slider shots in there, courtesy of our Atlas 30 slider (which you can currently save $100 as part of our Fall Rebate Specials). Check out their SDE/Next Day edit that was shown at the reception, and then slightly re-edited to include the reception reactions;

I really like the pre-filmed ‘how they met/fell in love’ stuff, which LoudByte says “works great because you have so much more time and the couple isn’t distracted by their wedding day.” This makes the most sense to me, lol. Any event, wedding or otherwise, is so chaotic it seems getting footage like this, and having the option and time to get it right, is unattainable any other way. If it’s in the couple’s wedding/wedding video budget – why not?

Also pulled the full description from their blog;

“We were so glad when Frank + Halle asked us to bring their story to life through cinema. From their first date at Sushi Wabi to Halle’s favorite snack (cucumbers) – we just couldn’t tell their story without incorporating food! “Of Food + Love” premiered during Halle + Frank’s reception at Gibson’s bar + steakhouse in Chicago. It sent emotions through the roof! The same day shots were a huge surprise to everyone – watch their reactions at the end of the film! Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Dichoza!”

Don’t forget – you too can be featured in our Customer Showcase! Send along your video link to showcase@cinevate.com and you could be next!
