Corporate Shoot Uses Drone to Capture Impossible Jib Shots

Clint RegehrLong time customer and friend of Cinevate, Clint Regehr of CERVIDEO, is featured in this edition of the Cinevate Customer Showcase. Clint, like many of Cinevate’s customers, makes his living as a filmmaker shooting corporate commercial projects. Clint’s most recent client was AireDynamics. In this piece Clint captures the careful and precise process of installing a several hundred thousand dollar AC unit several stories up in the air. It’s interesting to note that to achieve some of the impossible “jib-esque” type shots, Clint utilized the Phantom Drone.

For this particular shoot Clint’s weapons of choice were the Sony FS700, Sony FS100, Sony NEX-5N, GoPro 3+ and Phantom with Zenmuse gimbal. Clint also leaned heavily on the Atlas 30 Camera Slider and the Dromos Hi Hat. Here are a few behind the scenes photos showing off Clint’s rig.

Clint was also kind enough to share even more behind the scenes rig photos from another corporate shoot that he recently worked on. These photos give you a better look at the actual DJI Phantom drone that he utilizes to achieve a lot of those very creative overhead shots.
