Cinevate Bags Video Breakdown

Before Christmas we introduced our new line of DSLR Rig and Slider cases designed in conjunction with Tenba. Until now you could only see the bags via their catalog photos but now we happily have for you a more detailed video, not unlike our old Video University pieces, starring none other than Cinevate CEO Dennis Wood. If you’re looking for one bag in particular you can hop on the vimeo page to find markers that will jump to a specific bag, otherwise the entire video is available below (as is the original press release and bag listing).

We are happy to announce the immediate availability of a new collection of bags designed in cooperation with Tenba to meet the needs of today’s videographers. Cinevate has shared their vast expertise in the filmmaking world with Tenba’s 30+ years of bag building experience to design innovative carrying solutions for the leading video gear. These new bags provide rugged, versatile protection for a wide variety of digital video and HDSLR camera systems, rigs and sliders, with a special focus on Cinevate’s industry-leading models. Every case is built with the finest materials available, including YKK zippers, welded steel D-rings, water-repellant ballistic and Cordura nylon, and heavy-duty ball bearing wheels. Thank you SO much Cinevate. I was prepping for a shoot abroad, and looking everywhere for a decent baggage set to fit my 7D + Lenses and gear. You guys strike again! 😉

  2. John Nguyen says:

Yeah, the video is nice. But I couldnt find other important infos such as: dimension, weight, alternate photos of the bag. Video roadie is my interest but i just dont know how big it is.

    • Luke says:

      Hey John,

You’re right, the product description is a bit…lacking. I’ll have to co-ordinate with some of the Cinevate team to add more information, especially dimensions. I was able to find these exterior dimensions = 17.0 x 12.0 x 7.0″ (43.2 x 30.5 x 17.8 cm) and the weight at 11.8 lb (5.4 kg).

Also, found this image of the Roadie open, loaded with Cinevate gear.

      Hope this helps!
