St. Louis and Chicago based photographer Rob Grimm recently got his hands on our Atlas FLT camera slider for a Klipsch headphone commercial photo/video shoot and kindly passed along some BTS in both still and video format.
Rob shared his thoughts on the mostly exterior (and 110+ degree temperature) shoot and the challenge of capturing both still and video of 4 different subjects in 4 different locations in a 48 hour span. Besides the Atlas FLT, Rob also equipped himself with our Durus Follow Focus and was quickly taken with it; “the follow focus is a must have for shooters that work off of a DSLR system. This system allowed us to pull focus without touching the camera which helps our post production tremendously. We even quickly mounted this system to a steadicam to create the smoothest shots that we often got in the first take.”
“The Cinevate slider is a must have for motion. It’s lightweight and super easy to setup quickly or move from location to location. The slider adds enormous production value to shoots and helps your workflow in editing with ultra smooth shots right out of the camera.”
