We wanted to kick off 2013 with a bang and it feels like we’re off to a good start. January brought the launch of two big products, the Moco Motion Control Slider Kits and our new Axis Jib. You may have already seen our Axis launch video which featured some slick jib shots and a brief glance at setting up the Axis. In this video, Dennis Wood covers the finer details of the Jib including setup, safety and a few other tips and tricks for operating in the field. And naturally, we snuck in some of our usual hijinks as well.
So there you have it. Hopefully that answers all of the Axis questions we’ve been fielding the past couple weeks. If you still have some ponderings don’t hesitate to give us a call or send an email (or post in the comments below). I can’t emphasize enough Dennis’ point of ensure your camera is safe when put on and take off the weights at the back. The weights will go on last when setting up and should come off first when taking down. Otherwise, just have fun with it! One last thing, I wanted to give a quick shoot out to our pals at LensProToGo to sending us the amazing (and frequently used) scooter seen in the video. Check out the original Axis Jib launch video or find out more info and how to order Axis here.
